Visa Services
Requirements:
• Visa Application Form correctly completed and signed.
• Valid Passport (with at least 3 months of validity remaining): You don't need to bring the passport with you.
• A Copy of the Passport First Page.
• Two Recent Passport Photos.
• Your Immigration Status in UK [printed]: Share codes are not accepted, you need your "right to stay" immigration status.
• Hotel Reservation or a notarised Letter of Invitation from your host in Tunisia stating the address where you will be staying and confirming that your accommodation will be covered by the host, Airbnb bookings are not accepted.
• Visa Fees (to be paid by card at the Tunisian Embassy: Contactless only). See the consular fees list. The fees are not refundable whether the application is accepted or not!
• Official Business Invitation Letter from your host in Tunisia for a business visa.
• Cruise Confirmation or an Airline Ticket as proof of transit for a transit visa.
Please provide a copy of these documents, printed on one side only (recto only, no double-sided printing).
N.B. Application will necessitate approval from the Ministry of Interior. The embassy is responsible for forwarding the application to the Home Office in Tunisia; under no circumstances is it responsible for any possible refusal of the application.
The visa procedure takes 8 to 12 working weeks minimum; we strongly advise you to start the process well in advance (From 3 to 4 months): For any request that does not comply with these deadlines, you must sign a declaration stating that you accept full responsibility if the response does not reach you before your travel date.
You will be contacted once a response to your application has been received. You can then bring your passport to the embassy to have your visa affixed. It must be submitted before 11:00 a.m. and collected between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the main entrance.
You may also send it by post, along with a self-addressed “Special Delivery” envelope, in order to receive your visa at home.
Please ensure that the deadlines and the passport submission and collection times are strictly respected.
Holders of British travel documents, regardless of their nationality, must apply for a visa.
There is only one available method for submitting your visa application to the Tunisian Embassy in London:
In-Person Submission: You are welcome to visit us at the embassy, conveniently located at 29 Princes Gate, SW7 1QG London. Our doors are open for visa submissions from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note that it is not necessary to arrange an appointment for in-person submissions.
ALL APPLICATIONS SENT BY POST WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SENT BACK TO THE APPLICANT EXCEPT FROM IRELAND.
If you have a Tunisian relative, please specify this in your application and include a copy of their passport and a proof of your relationship.
If you are traveling with a child under 18 years old, please bring a copy of his birth certificate.
Similarly, if you are traveling with relatives or friends who hold British passports, please indicate this in your request and include a copy of their passports with your application and a proof of your relationship.
Mentioning these details can potentially expedite the processing of your application.
