Passport Services
1. First-Time Passport & Newborn Applications
· Completed and signed Application Form.
· Copy of the Tunisian Birth Certificate: Birth registration is required before applying for a Tunisian passport.
· Two Copies of both Parents identity cards or valid passport.
· Two Recent Passport Photos (2”x 2” inches, White Background).
· Notarised and signed Parent's Authorization Form.
· Consular Fees (including Parent's Authorization Fees and birth certificate fees for children and newborns).
2. Passport Renewal (six months prior to expiration date)
· Completed and signed Application Form.
· The Expired original Passport.
· Two copies of Tunisian ID Card (C.I.N)
· If the ID card is lost, damaged or expired, please fill out the C.I.N Pledge form and provide a recent Tunisian Birth Certificate.
Married women must present a recent birth certificate in Arabic that includes their marriage details if they wish to have their husband’s name appear on their passport.
· If your age is over 18 and you never had an ID, please fill out the C.I.N Pledge form.
· Two Copies of your BRP or British passport.
· Two Recent Passport Photos (2”x 2", White Background).
· Work certificate if applicable.
· Student card or certificate if applicable.
· Parent's Authorization for minors under the age of 18.
· TO KEEP THE OLD EXPIRED TUNISIAN PASSPORT, PLEASE FILL OUT THE “PLEDGE FORM”.

3. Lost passport
(Application will require The Ministry of Interior’s approval and may take a longer process)
· Completed and signed Application Form.
· Two copies of The Lost Passport if available.
· Two copies of Tunisian ID Card (C.I.N).
· If the ID card is lost, damaged or expired, please fill out the C.I.N Pledge form and provide a recent Tunisian Birth Certificate.
· If your age is over 18 and you never had an ID, please fill out the C.I.N Pledge form.
· Two Copies of your BRP or British passport.
· Two Recent Passport Photos (2”x 2", White Background).
· Work certificate if applicable.
· Student card or certificate if applicable.
· Parent's Authorization for minors under the age of 18.
· A Letter explaining the circumstances of losing the Tunisian passport.
· Two Recent Passport Photos (2” x 2”, White Background).

Notes:
1. Failure to include all necessary documents with your application will lead to processing delays or possible rejection.
2. If you cannot provide evidence of your legal status in the GB, approval from the Ministry of Interior may be necessary, potentially extending the processing time beyond the standard duration.
3. All applicants must provide a prepaid envelope 'special delivery' for the return of the passport once issued.
4. All applications by mail must include postal orders in the name of the Tunisian Embassy for the consular fees.
5. If your want to change your civil status in your passport, you must register your marriage first. The new civil status will not show in your passport until your marriage is registered in your birth certificate.
6. For children aged five or older but under the age of 18, it is mandatory to submit a school attendance certificate.
7. For passports for children under the age of 18, whether it's their first application, renewal, or duplicate, it is necessary to provide a notarised or legalised parental authorisation.
